My name is Laura and I’m volunteering at the same monastary you were at. Peter told me about you and Atma. I just wanted to say how amazed I am by what you did for her. Truly an incredible thing to do. I wish I was in a position to do the same. Atma looks and sounds like a lovely little dog.

Lynn, you are an angel. If only others were like you when it comes to helping animals in need… loved the story tho, I would have been bald by the time I got back home, I think its hogwash these interprovincial airline rules. One would think it would be more important for overseas travel, not in your own backyard for god’s sake…anyway hope little Atma is enjoying life on Canadian soil… cheers Marilyn

Hi Lynn:
Good to see you made it home safe and sound with Atma. Also happy you found a good home for her. We were planning a trip out to Vernon in July but Bob can’t drive very far because of his shoulder and I don’t like travelling through the mountains, let alone driving mountain roads myself. So we are flying to Vancouver for 3 days July 16 – 19th. Bob wants to see his grandaughters – 4 & 1 1/2. I have not seen either and he has only seen the oldest on her first birthday. If you two get the chance to come out our way we would love to have you as guests – cats included. The weather has been for the most part great and I am getting lazier by the day.

Your story of Atma brought tears to my eyes.
Probably because we just said goodbye 2 weeks ago to our family pet, a yellow lab, after 13 1/2 years and miss her deeply.
What a wonderful experience you’ve had! Blessings to you and to Atma.
